Trachtenverein D'Argentaler
Deutsch (DE-CH-AT)English (United Kingdom)

There are more then 60 people who are active members of the costume club and like 220 non-active-members, who support us.

We are divided in two groups:

the Gebirgstrachtengruppe (Mountaineers), whose members found the club in 1913 and are wearing the Westallgäuer Gebirgstracht.

The group shows Schuhplattler (type of bavarian and austrian folk dance performed by male dancers), Glockenspiel and traditional dances from the Allgäu.

The Historical group, found in 1974 from the former chairman Reinhold Kolb, is wearing the old merchant costume, back from 19th century.

The group shows mostly traditional dances of that time.
